Zac here. Got a fun update for you this month.
Here's a quick couple of screen grabs so you can see what the layout is looking like:
Fulfillment
Layout is in full swing, and we've heard from Joe (or layout artist) that we should have an "alpha" in the next few weeks. That will, of course, be shared with you.
In the meantime, much as with our other project, Raptor, you're going to get some digital drops for the next few months. The first several will be some of the Stretch Goals you unlocked, and we're going to start with...
Undying Revelry
The first in a series of short adventures. This is not indicative of how Winds of Hell will look, other than a similiar selection of fonts, and it may not be how this adventure looks in its final form, even. But it is playable and presentable.
As mentioned in the Kickstarter, this is only meant to be a free digital adventure, and not part of Winds of Hell proper, but we'll see what the page count on the book looks like and go from there.

Missing Backerkit Surveys
68 people still need to complete their survey. If you can't find your Pledge Manager survey when you login to Backerkit, here are some things to try:

Check your login, some folks end up with two different Backerkit email profiles, or

I've been helping Will Tramp on the side, putting together a book filled with everything you could possibly need for high seas encounters: ships, crew, captains, cargo tables, adventure hooks, rumor tables, new munitions & ship upgrades, and loads more.

Shadowdark: Dark Mythos
This one launched yesterday! Frank and I contributed adventures to this sprawling eldritch expansion that has a full book of adventures, a resource book filled with nightmarish Cthulhian horrors, and a fiction/GM advice book filled with Lovecraft's stories that inspired our writing and short essays directed toward GMs.

Zac here. Here's what's been done this month:

New art! See below, but it's just looking insane. Some of these are still WIP.

Will Tramp's scenario reviewed/approved!
Being completely transparent, one of our artists is doing a fantastic job, but isn't going as quickly as we anticipated, so we're a bit behind on the art front.
On the other side of things, I'm going to start laying out the stretch goal scenarios, and if all goes well, I hope to drop 1-2 per month for the next 2 months.
At Gen Con a few weeks ago, Frank also got to playtest more of the campaign, running a crew through the final scenario in all its blood-soaked, sulfur-stinking mayhem. Clever pirates familiar with Limithron's maps can get some hints and clues from the below image...
That's it for this month, at least until I get one of these scenerios looking fancy.

The Nightwatch Lighthouse
One of my dear friends, David Barrentine, is launching a short adventure book here on Kickstarter next month. I've actually played this one, and it's amazing. I credit David as being my favorite adventure writer. While this is designed for 5.5e D&D, I'll tell you right now it would work perfectly for Pirate Borg. Here's some of the things you can expect:
- An interesting mystery surrounding a lighthouse gone dark.
- A terrifying harpy encounter (see image above).
- Dark occultism at the heart of it.

New Art & Writing!

Zac here with a quick update. Here's what we've gotten done in the past month:

New art! Lots of new sketches and several finished items. I'll drop a few things down below.

Stretch Goal writing! All of this is done. We got the guest piece from Will Tramp in last week, so it still needs reviewed/edited, but it looks amazing at first blush.
This is a WIP sketch for the Black Coat (player class) and then the Tyrant and Dread Commander demons.
This month, if all goes well, we'll have a lot more art done, the new writing reviewed/edited, and some more playtesting accomplished.
As an added bonus, I'm also working on a scenario for Shark Week in a couple of weeks, and I'll make sure you all get the PDF as soon as it's released too:
