Ahoy!

Zac here. For a couple of reasons, we've decided to fast-track the Backerkit Pledge Manager. 

Smoke tests will be going out today to a random 5% of you, followed by everyone else by the first part of next week. 

We won't be charging for shipping yet, but we will be delivering the following digital files as soon as your order is locked:

Additionally, there's a slight possibility that more of the buckskin bags go on sale at a later date. If that's going to happen, we'll post another update here, and even if your order is locked, you'll be able to potentially snag one via preorder, and then I can go in and merge your two orders together.

May Update: Short Note + New Pirate Project!

Ahoy!

Zac here. Just a quick update for this month. Here's what we got through:

• Holographic stickers ordered
• 90% of buckskin pouches finished
• Second wave of collaborator payments
• Several Stretch Goals written!

I don't expect to fire up the Pledge Manager for a month or more yet.

We're wrapping up Raptor Ruckus still. Until that's finished, we won't be as heavy on this one -- but we've got several artists hired, and are plotting out some more layout. I think things will rapidly progress after this month. 

In the meantime, I'm going to be launching a much, much smaller PIRATE BORG project this July. Basically, there's a few things that I've found I need at my table that aren't in the core book:

• More options for Naval Combat Crew Actions, especially for larger tables
• Extra space for PC equipment (and guidance for containers)
• Ways of quickly enhancing NPC combat abilities and actions
• Bigger/better/faction-specific name generators

So, I'm making a set of double-sided bookmarks! It gets even better; since this is a micro-project, I'm able to offer:

• Ridiculously cheap shipping, worldwide. I can ship these in a stamped envelope!
• Ridiculously fast shipping. These are already almost done, so they'll ship within weeks! No Pledge Manager, no later billing on shipping.

Another Stretch Goal, THANK YOU, and That Last, Pesky Stretch Goal

Zac here! It's the last bit, and in the final hours ye've managed to lock in another Stretch Goal. Also, this might be our final opportunity to say how much we appreciate your support before the end, so THANK YOU! 

STRETCH GOALS

• ✅$60,606 Demonic Crews | A big one! This builds out the demonic faction with some additional stat blocks, roll tables, and other additions that will ensure they have the proper heft to be a significant threat in your Dark Caribbean (as if there needed to be another one).

That's being added to the core campaign book. 

We're in the last moments of the campaign, so it looks like we won't hit that final stretch goal before the clock runs out; however, we'll keep the candles burning with Late Pledge options here on Kickstarter, and any money we earn between now and the Pledge Manager will count toward that final goal. 

Speaking of Pledge Managers, we don't expect to get this one up right away. We'll let the Late Pledges cook over here for a bit and will wait to set up that survey until we're close to being ready to send out the PDF this summer.

Stretch Goal Unlocked! Final 48 Hours!

Zac here. We hit one of our final stretch goals over night, which was one of the later goals we cooked up, but maybe one of my favorites. 

STRETCH GOALS

• ✅$56,789 Blackcoat Player Class | We'll be putting together a full player class for those of you who want to play a preacher/chaplain aboard your pirate vessel. I think the current vision is less spell/prayer focused than the Zealot...more like an Inquisitor class from other games. 
  This will be added to the core campaign, and is a free upgrade to all backers that get that book. 

Up next, the book gets a nice, chunky expansion with the Demonic Crews goal at $60,606.
